Hello, Zoran, thanks for your interest I don't remember my stats on typeracer, because it's been a long time since I last entered there, but here's a print screen I took in midsummer 2008: http://www.andreicristescu.go.ro/temp/T ... un2008.jpg
When did they only post the best time for each player on the "top speeds" list? Ever since I arrived there, which was like six months ago, it was only the top speed for one player. I admit the current way is fairer though...

Andrei, what t.f. did you do then? 20 accounts?
Nice scores I must say. You're natural gifted I suppose.
I must make a lot of races to get some score over 150 wpm... You did that so easily.
I received my new keyboard to practice on for the Ultimate Typing Championship finals yesterday from Das Keyboard, and it's a lot faster than the keyboard I had before. I'm still not totally accustomed to it so I'm making more errors, but I did manage to break four of my records here (all except the French) while testing the keyboard to see whether it really is faster.
What's the difference between that keyboard and the keyboards you used to use?
You are close to Hiroki's score which was 174 wpm.... Is it possible to type that fast? Can you do it?

Well, it's a deluxe model. I was typing on a $5 or $10 keyboard purchased at Staples, while this is a $100 "deluxe model". I think the keys are slightly more spaced apart so typos are theoretically less likely, but I make more on this because I'm still not totally used to it yet. This keyboard feels firmer than the other did and it is much louder; you can hear every keystroke you make, while on my previous keyboard, you actually couldn't always. I can't really explain the differences though. I'm no scholar on keyboard quality, though.
