Well, it's not 100% clear if I would have been able to participate anyway, since I was ineligible for being a territory resident (from our conversations it seemed this could be fixed, but that wasn't a promise).Damz wrote:I wonder if he shows some regrets?
But, regardless of that, I don't regret my decision. Unrestricted rights to my name and image aren't for sale to corporations.
Okay, Karen. I did the Intersteno 10 minute English test, and for some inexplicable reason, I did BETTER (but I am worn out now). I have no explanation how I would average 150 wpm on five-minute tests elsewhere or 156 on a three-minute or so test in the UTC, and almost 170 on this ten-minute test, unless the words we were being asked to type were much easier.

By the way, I'm now #1 on the French test, but I won't even sniff #1 on the general classification until I can figure out what everyone is doing to get those REALLY fast alphabet and reverse alphabet scores. I did improve my rank on both of those a lot, by I can't even imagine someone typing the alphabet in a second or the reverse alphabet in 1.1. I can't do better than 1.5 and 1.8 on those (not that that's really bad, compared to players on this site in general...)
Dude, you're an absolute monster, 157 on French for an anglo is ridiculous!
and 842 on intersteno is otherwordly too, though you'll have to keep these mistakes in check because you could have had a better score with 550 cpm and 7 mistakes!
As for the alphabets, you just have to find an optimal fingering and you'll get there...
But where the hell where you these past few years, it seems like you just popped up out of nowhere last month or something

Wow, that is a MASSIVE penalty for making typos, but I always start out as the hare until learning for sure that being a tortoise is the correct strategy.Damz wrote: 842 on intersteno is otherwordly too, though you'll have to keep these mistakes in check because you could have had a better score with 550 cpm and 7 mistakes!
