Yeah :(
Where is Hakan Kurt and his over 800 cpm?
Where are Emrah Kuyumcu, Recep Ertaş and Miloš Černilovský? who get over 700 cpm...
Where are Petr Hais, Šárka Bicanová and Ümit Şeker? who did less 700 but who beat us :(

Actually, I notice that Turkishs have less precision than Czechs! Their language is easier or what? Chen, you who did over 500 in Turkish, try to explain me why.

Another thing: in 2008, all the Czechs were not present.

Please Chen, take a look on the rankings of the year 2007 and the year 2008... How can it be possible to pass from 843 (in 2007) with only two mistakes to 721 with 9 mistakes?!! (Miloš) It's pretty strange, isn't it?
Another strangéité: Hakan Kurt... who did 732 with 29 mistakes in 2007, reached 807 with 10 mistakes! But, it's less weird than the other case.

Reactions? Damz? Chen? Andrei? Jelani?
Czechs and Turkishs are exceptionally powerful, but sometimes strange... Earn more or less 50 cpm every year is normal, but earn or lose 150 cpm =X

Will all the Czechs and all the Turkishs (of 2007) participate this year?
I hope so!

I think maybe it has to do with them not allowing abbreviations or something? I don't know...

It is much easier to be accurate in Turkish than in Czech. It's very hard to be fast typing Turkish using Turkish Q but for native Turkish people who use Turkish F, then the language is pretty easy

Ok
Tonight I'll try 680 in English.

In fact, I would love to participate and take the context. But I don't know when I'll do that :/ I'm gourmand... I would like to get 700 French and 660 English :/ But I'm stupid to have dreams, I'll probably be in a shitting situation.

You averaged more than 5000 points on 16 different languages, that's nothing short of extraordinary! I think you can say mission accomplished as you exceeded your goal by a comfortable margin and performed better than last year in every language but one!

I won't say your first place is assured, but I wouldn't worry too much if I was you 8)

Is English your mother tongue, Daniel ? :) Although you live in the US, you may well have first learned Mandarin, or Cantonese -> I can't even fathom how those languages are even typable, due to their enormous number of characters (ideograms, actually).

Congrats, Daniel, for winning this year's Internet Contest, too ! Your scores are fabulous, especially Turkish, Dutch and Italian.... you've left me speechless

Congrats, Karen, even though you failed to make 6000 points in English.... your score is better than mine. Hope you'll get what you deserve, which is: 7000 pts in French. Show 'em what you're made of, dude!

Hmm, I never talked about 7000 points :$
I said I'll do 700 cpm :p not 7000 points.

Haha :/
Indeed... What I would give to get 700 zero mistake for the contest.

Yesterday I did 704 with 1 mistake (on French), for training.
Sometimes I do 680+ and sometimes 700+ ...

Croisons les doigts.
I'll do it when I'll be warm and ready. But with stress, I can't foresee how I'll do. Maybe I'll do 650 with 10 mistakes? :| Lol, with a such score, I would suicide myself.

If you keep training the same text your scores will be higher than on a new text. I predict you'll do something similar to me ~6700

Yep, I think so... !
With stress... no more than 680, probably.

We'll see that.
