Hey,at first I was quite annoyed,I couldn't type them at all and I couldn't understand how a lot of you type decimals so fast...but few days ago I decided to try and I improved from 60 to 142 cpm...I know it's not so much but for a beginner like me it's quite satisfying,at least for now,but I realized that maybe I'm typing in a wrong way...for egg I type the upper decimals of the keyboard but I think that maybe it is better to type the num lock side, what do you think?should I change my style?what about you guys?how do you type them?

You should learn to use the number row with all of your fingers (except your thumbs), that's by far the most efficient way. Your left pinky types 1, left ring finger types 2, left major types 3 and left index types 4 and 5. Right index types 6 and 7 and the three remaining fingers each have their own key.
With some practice you'll blow your current score, you just have to be persistent!

Indeed, I use the same style as Damien, as probably many others do. It seems to be the most proficient (it puts little stress on each finger, and if you have big palms + good elasticity, then it's very easy to hit "backspace" with your small right finger, while keeping the others still).

That's precisely what he was referring to... ^^
Bottom line, you do as you want, but if you ever want to reach some serious score on Pi you better start getting used to this technique right now!
