Championship > Presentation
What is the championship?
The championship is an annual competition, made up of 12
Masters, at the rate of 1 per month..
What is a Master?
A Master is a typing contest which takes place each month, and which lasts a few
days.
During these few days, you'll have to practice the text
in order to make the best possible score.
At the end of each Master, the winner gets 100 points. Other participants
get a number of points depending on their performance (to get
1 point, one needs half of the winner's
speed).
At the end of the year, the one who adds up the most points becomes the
new champion of Typing Zone!
How to participate?
To participate in a Master, you need to be a member of Typing Zone
(register if it's not already done), and to download our small program: Typing Zone.
You can of course join the championship during any month, even if it has already begun. It means that you can participate in any Master, even if you haven't participated in previous Masters..
How does a Master take place?
A Master takes place in 4 steps:
- Each member of the community can suggest a text.
- The community votes in order to elect a text. The elected text
will be the object of the Master.
- The Master begins, then you have a few days
to practice and to send us your best score.
- The Master ends, the results are displayed.
To suggest a text, to vote, or to see the results of the Master of the month, all is in the page Master of the month.
